Watchmakers generally use custom letters and numbers for their watchfaces.
Some suggestions in http://www.dafont.com/forum/read/255438/clock-font
Add Times Roman to the list of possible sources for the Roman Numerals
One version of Times Roman includes compressed fonts which might work for your watchface: Lido STF Cond Medium or Bold, particularly if you squeeze the width

Suggested font: Lido

This style of lettering with the split ends of terminals is called Tuscan, or sometimes fishtail. There have been many variations since it first became popular in the mid 19th century.
It would be possible to make a full alphabet to match the letters in your image by modifying Hessian, but we have no way of knowing if this is what the designer of these letters actually did. Seems just as easy to draw an alphabet from scratch.

You can use the capital letters from a font based on the Roman letters inscribed in the Trajan column, such as Trajan and squeeze them together.
Some Roman inscription fonts are already condensed, such as Anavio Condensed.
Squeeze them closer together for a closer match

Suggested font: Anavio Condensed

Roman numerals like these are included in High Times.
You would have to customize for _IIII_.

Suggested font: High Times

Oooo! Classic use of recursion

Are the letters from clothing?
Anyway, I didn't spot an exact match with a font.
Closest overall could perhaps be Hessian.

Suggested font: Hessian

The poster design is credited to "LA"

It could perhaps be possible to to obtain information on the lettering in the design by contacting LA at http://lassociates.com/

The lettering is a variation of an old woodtype font called Grecian.
Several versions including a condensed http://myfonts.us/td-4erhow
Don't know if this was custom lettered or a specific font has these exact letters.

Suggested font: Grecian

Custom lettering for _Peugeot_
Castle Bold is very close and would match with some tweeks such as making the two sides of _U_ have the same thickness
Peugeot has a proprietary font but it is for a different version of the logo

Suggested font: Castle Bold

Yes, hand lettered by him without a close match to a font.
The reference to Kat's comparison is entertaining.
I tried to find a match but the closest I was able come was Priamos Heavy.
As can be seen from my comparison of the logo -- red line -- with Priamos Heavy -- black -- the fit is mainly in the weight. Everything else is different.

If anyone wants to try _NASA_ with Priamos Heavy go to
http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/ef-typeshop/priamos/heavy/
p.s. I wonder if Typophile will ever return. The promise of a "reboot" is almost a year old
