Anyone know this one? It is from the 1880s. This photo is the title of a book.
Hello,
This is from a children's script book published in 1928.
It looks a little like one of the common Roman fonts.
It is not New Times Roman due to the lower case "a" and "e", for example, but it is close.
Anyone know for sure which one?
Thanks!

By "modern" I meant a font that is not a newer version created within my life time. I am looking for original name of the font as published in 1907.

EDIT: Broadbay. I found it under the 1920s category.

I am reprinting a catalog that has pages missing. I have been able to find the missing pages but only as poor quality photocopies.
Would like to reproduce the pages as close to the originals as I can.
Anyone familiar with this font??
I am not looking for a modern variation but the same font used by Sears in 1900.

I am reprinting a catalog that is from 1907 and am trying to find the font used in it for the supplemental material.
To my eyes the font used is the same or similar to newspaper fonts used at the time.
Would anyone recognize this and can tell me what it is??
