Hello,
This is from a children's script book published in 1928.
It looks a little like one of the common Roman fonts.
It is not New Times Roman due to the lower case "a" and "e", for example, but it is close.
Anyone know for sure which one?

It appears to be an original Garamond that was done in hot type. In digital - Garamond #4 is (in my opinion) the closest I could find.
