It may have been the other site that had the dispute feature. That should be added here too, if not already.

That could be a lowercase Alpha symbol. Alpha is a Greek letter.

Oct 24, 2014 at 03:57  [initial post]  Someone validated a wrong font on my thread.

I made a font identification request not very long ago because I was looking for this one font that had its numbers actually smaller than the capital characters and some of the numbers hanging down (9, for example) to the point it can be noticed right away. A user "identified" it as Aller and my case was closed down. I find this extremely derogatory and provocative to the point I want to report that user for trolling and have him/her banned because I know that is exactly the wrong (I repeat, WRONG) font, since all numbers are at the same height as the capital letters and elevation in Aller. Again, the font I was looking for had numbers that are shorter than the capital letters and they had varying heights. There used to be a dispute feature available here. What happened to it?

That's not Aller. I know it because I know that some of the numbers, 9 for example, hangs down (drastically) in the font I am looking for.

Hi.

I am looking for this one font.

It looks very similar to Verdana but with some differences.

The font has numbers that are smaller than capital letters.

Many are frustrated by a font like this, but I am looking for that. I think it looks fit for airport signs.

I truly hope I get some replies.

It's already been two days and I still have not gotten a reply? What's wrong with you people? Isn't ESL a popular site? It stands for Electronic Sports League for crying out loud!

Sep 28, 2014 at 00:16  [reply]  What font is this?

This one's a no-brainer. I've seen this font everywhere.

Identified font: Helvetica Neue

The font itself is Arial Bold, just like koeiekat said.

Suggested font: Arial Bold  (Already suggested here)

It looks like that Minecraft font... No, I'm being serious.

I'm looking for a similar font, but the way the L is not curved tells me this could be Eurostile.

Suggested font: Eurostile

Sep 27, 2014 at 23:57  [reply]  name of this font?

Personally, I don't think this font is that uncommon, but if you want to know what it actually is, it's Helvetica Neue 47 Cond Light.

Here's the better link: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/neue-helvetica/helvetica-47-light-condensed/

There, I just cropped it. If you can make fonts, then you can find fonts, I'm sure of it.

Sep 27, 2014 at 21:56  [reply]  ESL's usual font?

That's ironic because it said in the instructions that I need to explain where the ideal font is, which I clearly did by underlining it.

I can tell the font in the middle of the image is Segoe UI with compressed letter spacing. I call this the deadmau5 effect because deadmau5 is known for using it with Arial Black.

Suggested font: Segoe UI

Sep 27, 2014 at 21:41  [reply]  ESL's usual font?

Like I said before, I can tell they are using a completely different font because there is a thin version that looks nothing like Eurostile or Pbio. Didn't you see the writing that I underlined?

Sep 27, 2014 at 19:13  [reply]  please help with this (y)

That's almost right except for the 1's. It could have been photoshopped or something. The 1's in the above screenshot is very easy to make, you just need to find the right height and width, as well as the right spacing.

Sep 27, 2014 at 19:09  [initial post]  ESL's usual font?

This is the best image I could find. I know the font they are using is not Eurostile because if they are, I would know, and they are using this font in everything but their site. The font that needs identification is the font underlined in light blue. I know this is a little blurry but any kind of help would be appreciated.
