Does anyone know if there is a reason why zapfino is part of the Mac OS software, but cannot be obtained without purchasing a license for PC?

.ttf = "true type font"
.otf = "open type font"
it does not say "true type digital typeface" or "open type digital typeface".
If I can select it from the list of fonts in my software, it's close enough to a font for my liking.
I may not remember the entire history based on how a "font" is defined from when I went to college, but at least I'm not a holier than thou prick with a chip on my shoulder for people simply looking for help or seeking answers. I don't have to look at that asshole in the mirror every morning. You do.

Not directly, but it can be constructed there and created though other channels. I will be sure to make a modified free font of not only zapfino, but also monogram, open Egmont, dwigglins initials, ea sports covers, gotica moderna, fontenay fancy, hk display, monotoon, obese & square, ml rainbow, ml zigzag, ml roxy initials and ml sunglow.
You don't HAVE to be an asshole..... It is a choice. If you are looking for respect with your attitude, you're going about it the wrong way.

You know what I bet is not illegal? Tracing the font in Dreamweaver and making minor tweaks to each letter and then renaming it and posting in on a free font website. Is it? It's technically your custom font then that you can to what you please with, right?
So let me get this straight.... you have to pay over $50 to get a font for windows that comes with Mac OSX free?!
Am I the only person who thinks that is total bs?
