It's posted on ALOT of sites and rarely any of them give credit to me. Tell me what to do. Also by the way i made it for free at this site, but i doubt that it gives them permission to post it as their own.

Unfortunately, not much. Once you post something online, it's pretty hard to keep an absolute control over it. There are some threads here with similar problems, you're not alone in this.

Yes friends, shit happens. Specially in the fonts scene and then very specially in the Pakistani shit and there is little you can do about it as we are talking about an extremely corrupt country where no authority will follow-up on a complaint from anyone - let alone a foreigner - without being paid a 'convincing' amount of money, all the way up.

The Pakistani shit you can do little about but maybe rent a Serb, but that is expensive too, can do something with this: JAGDISHH PAHUJA, TAJ COMPLEX BLOCK A, FLOOR 8, FLAT NO. 6, M.A.JINNAH ROAD, KARACHI, 74400 Pakistan.

Better still, have fun. Whatever you decide

@The Crafterian: if you upload your fonts only to DaFont, you could add a line similar to this in the header, (the header is the section where you add the designer information in your font editor. When the font is opened in preview, that information appears above the very small upper and lower case text display):

'This font was uploaded by its designer to DaFont. Any other site making this font available for download has done so without the designer's knowledge or consent.'

Some sites might not add your font, if it has this sort of disclaimer. It would also be a criminal act for a different site to edit the header.

This disclaimer won't prevent other sites from posting your font, but it may limit the number of sites that do so.

@ koeiekat...

Don't you mean the "digital typeface, which is horribly misconstrued as a font" scene?

I was reading this post and what does "rent a Serb" mean (just being curious)?

Basically, it means "give a bad guy some money to do dirty deeds" It works with any nationality, when people are supposed to be strong

Happens to me all the time, I have the end user agreement attached listing conditions of use etc. One of which is that distribution isn't allowed. Usually after a well worded email to the font site pointing out the error of the way my fonts are removed with an apology
The EULA is also very useful for 'issues' in the USA as they don't protect font like the UK
