For what it's worth, I found a download link for CometStd on a Chinese forum called the Chinese Printing Community. I won't link to it here in case it's a violation of the rules, but it should be relatively easy to find if you search for CPC and CometStd.
I was browsing the Techno/Square and Techno/Sci-Fi listings for a font with a certain aesthetic, and I came across
https://www.dafont.com/kitchen-police.font , which was pretty similar to what I was looking for. However, I was wondering if there was a similar font that has capital letters and, ideally, isn't slanted. I have found another similar font (also slanted), but it's not available for free:
https://webfont.fontplus.jp/font-list/cometstd-b Likely not a font, the two A's are different, which is usually a sign that it's not a font, as otherwise they would be the exact same. Of course, one could be capital and the other lowercase, so if someone can prove me wrong that would be nice as this is a cool (non-)font.

Agreed. Square 721 and Eurostile are very similar, but that "g"...

Could be from other font

(i.e. customized font for that game, but still based in major part on one of those fonts)
Yep, it looks a lot like Eurostile Bold with custom G and g. Thank you so much!
EDIT: Because SashiX didn't tag it, I will :P

The title and the body use the same font, so it was actually Dalliance the entire time.
Found it on the front page of daFont
If you look closely it is exactly the font.
After I looked at it, it seems like Square 721, although it doesn't work on my computer very well and it isn't as close as I would like.
Plation is probably the closest thing you could find, although this isn't a font.
What font is used for the text in these games, or close? I'm not looking for Continuum, I'm well aware of its existence and it isn't what I'm looking for.
