Hey everyone,
Is it just me or has this forum become a bit too quiet recently? There used to be way more active discussions, font sharing, and interesting finds.
Curious to know what changed. Are people moving to other platforms, or just less interested these days?
Would be nice to bring some activity back 🙂
Yeah, I get what you mean. The mobile layout can be a bit awkward, especially with the logout button being so easy to tap by mistake.
For the links part, maybe try long-pressing and copying the font name instead of opening multiple tabs, that might keep things a bit cleaner.
Yeah this is a pretty common confusion on iPad, nothing wrong with the font itself 👍
The issue is that iPad doesn’t let you open/install fonts directly from zip files or by tapping .ttf files like a normal file. That’s why it keeps saying “data” and not recognizing it.
What you need to do:
1> Unzip the file first
Open the Files app
Tap the zip file → it will extract a folder
Inside you should see the actual .ttf or .otf files
2> Install using a font app
iPad requires a profile to install fonts. Try apps like:
iFont
AnyFont
After that, the font should be available in supported apps.
So yeah, the problem isn’t Excrallik specifically, it’s just how iOS handles fonts. Once you install via a profile, it should work fine 👍
Thanks Sir, I'm Looking for this.

Is there a way to actually use custom fonts in Instagram bio
nope
then how other people are using fancy fonts?
Hi everyone,
I want to use stylish or fancy fonts in my Instagram bio, but I am not sure how people are doing it. I downloaded some fonts from DaFont, but these are not pasting in Instagram.
Is there a way to actually use custom fonts in Instagram bio, or are people using some kind of text generator?
If anyone can guide me on the correct method, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Dude!
DaFont does not have a built-in filter for weight such as thin, medium, bold, or ultra-bold. The categories are mainly stylistic such as Script, Gothic, Techno, etc., so there is no direct way to filter strictly by thickness.
However, you can narrow results using these methods:
Use the search bar with keywords
Try terms like:
• bold
• heavy
• black
• ultra
• thin
• light
• condensed
Many designers include weight terms in the font title or description.
Use the “More options” preview tool
You can adjust preview size and enter custom text. Thicker fonts become obvious quickly when preview size is increased.
Browse specific style categories strategically
For very thick fonts:
Techno, Display, Groovy, and some Gothic sections often contain heavier styles.
For thin fonts:
Script, Serif, and Modern categories often contain lighter or high-contrast fonts.
Sort by popularity or date
Sometimes newer display fonts include multiple weights and will mention it in the description.
If you need precise control over weight filtering, platforms like MyFonts, Fontspring, or Google Fonts offer advanced filtering by weight axis. DaFont is more discovery-oriented than filter-driven.
Hope that helps.
do you asking for unicode cursive fonts?
Really helpful broad topic!
Try Didot font, it is almost similar to yours.
