In android you can install any third party fonts if they are available in the play store. Unlike ios android offers these and that is why there are so many ios haters. Also in ios defense using third party app is not always best as in these ways phone get hacked. They make you click for the permission and download your data and pictures and what not.

I do not think you can install custom fonts in I phone. They have strict rules and regulations for this.
