Ridgeline - MyFonts.com doesn't show it anymore - but one of the manufacturers had the alternative for those drop caps....

It would have been nice - but I've finally been given a high res logo from the client... lol Thank you all - and if you were here - I'd be wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving today.

You found larger ones? Do tell - I'm stuck on this job... and I think you are right - looks like Cronos when I looked at the "Birmingham" part... the sample I have doesn't have the "playfulness" of Cronos - but looking good... thank you for your help.

It looks like something the folks at Sudtipos would put together for a client. (High praise!)

Fmontpetit - I don't think they do. They had complied when they were made - changing three characters slightly. One thing they did do was make a "wider" letter and in some cases, a lower x-height.

I always loved URW's library. For some reason their letters kerned together so much nicer than Bitstream or Adobe.

fmontpetit - I tried last time to play it safe - and SashiX came back anyway and named it as Square 721. I try my best to stick to the "legit" and original names - for these fonts... Bitstream's only originals are the fonts they made for themselves - all the rest are imitations of fonts they did not want to pay the royalties for --

So Eurogrammamicrosquarestile is fine with me!!!! ROFL

Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman... lol

In Woody Allen's contracts (from Ballantine Books) all his covers must be on a black background using Windsor type - and no photo of him...

He also has it set up in Windsor for each of his movies... it must have made quite the impression on him when he first spotted it all those years ago.
