“Radium FG” is a new digitisation of the Art Nouveau hot-metal font “Radium” published in 1905 by the German typefoundry Ludwig & Mayer.
It became popular in the 1970s when Hubertus Carl “Hace” Frey reworked the bold weight of Radius under the new name “Charleston”. It was used chiefly as a display typeface on musical album covers.
Radium FG has, like the original “Radium”, both a regular and a bold weight. I added latin character sets for most Western and Eastern European languages. It is available as a free font under the SIL Open Font License with the reserved name “Radium”. For details see

The font is free for both personal and commercial use, but you can make donations via the paypal link of the font on dafont.com.
