That was my initial thought too, but the R in Eurostile curves downward more instead of kicking out like this one. The Ns appear the same, or very similar; the Y seems more stout than Eurostile. Maybe it's a modified Eurostile?
I've gathered that the metro scenes were filmed in Mexico City's Insurgentes station, but the signs (in English) were props.
Any help is much appreciated.
