THANK YOU VERY MUCH EVERYONE, AND ESPECIALLY TO YOU,- FONATICA, FOR IDENTIFYING THE FONT FOR ME.

Jan 21, 2015 at 22:44  [initial post]  Rescue lettering

Does anyone know what style these are please?

I have Googled it for you and this is what came up.... In the mid-70s, when The Muppet Show premiered, it was still fairly common for movie and TV show titles to be handlettered, as this one was. Most of the letters have the thick, bracketed serifs characteristic of ITC Bookman, which was very much in vogue in the 70s. There's still subtle differences, for copyright purposes, but I feel this font should help you.

Suggested font: Bookman

Oct 07, 2014 at 14:31  [initial post]  Old 1970's plastic registration plate lettering.

Does anyone know what font was used in the plastic letters, used on the old registration plates, please?
The letters have distinctive differences to fonts I have tried, ie the "8" has a flat bottom to it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Jul 15, 2014 at 12:48  [reply]  BRUFF and BEDFORD font.

Can anyone help with this font, please? Thank you.

Jul 11, 2014 at 20:38  [reply]  BRUFF and BEDFORD font.

I have looked at Bank Gothic, but the "F" is not the same.
The middle line, is too short for the one needed for BEDFORD.
Thank you for trying, though.

It looks like Trade Gothic Next Pro Regular, but it's not quite 100%.

Suggested font: Trade Gothic Next Pro

Jul 11, 2014 at 19:41  [initial post]  Coastliner lettering.

I have noticed that there's some different letters in this logo. the "o, t, l, i, n, r", appear to be different, to the "a, s, and e".
There maybe two fonts being used, in this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This was taken from a photo I took. The font is NOT as condensed as this, as this was off a three-quarter view photo.
If you could please help me, it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
