I should have mentioned I was aware how similar to futura it is.. but, just wondering if there's anything a little closer to this.. its a bit fatter. Maybe this font hasn't been re-created yet?

Awesome! thank you SashiX!!!!! those are spot on! I think Blippo must have been the one I was thinking of.. almost exact except for the 'e' which may have been changed from the original font..how many people know about old school letraset!! lol. Where you had to rub the font onto paper~!!!

Yeah, I need this one too. Was trying to replicate it in illustrator. Painstaking and end result was not the same.
Definitely IS a custom thingy...although some one needs to recreate a similar looking font in fontographer.

We all know the classic Soul Train font...but, what's the closest match, or has someone re-created it??

this is from the back of a soul music groups album, the group is called HEATWAVE. (of course!)
Looking for ideas on what this font might be? the 3d effects and motion staggering I can do...but, this looks like a deco style font right?
