Because when I'm in the middle of class, I need to be very quick to type. The teachers speek really fast... And besides, I like to take my notes in PDF X-change to anotate the slides my teachers provide, and that program doesn't have the 'insert symbol' option...

What I'm looking for is a font to write my college notes, with A's and B's and C's, but when I need to quickly insert and arrow, I can just type a symbol. Like in the ine I gave as example: I can write words regularly, but if I need to tyoe an arrow, I just need to type "~", and it shows an arrow. I want something exactly like that, but with up and down arrows as well...

Hi. I'm wondering if someone can help me find a font.

I need a font with regular letters (it can be handwritten, sans serif, serif... I don't care), but that some of the symbols are replaced with arrows. I just need right, up and down arrows.

This font has all the regular letters, but if you look at the symbol "~", it is replaced by a right arrow. Is there anything like this, but with up and down arrows as well?
