So apparently all of the online font identifiers aren't giving me any suitable result. any clue here? was it an inside job that never happened to be a proper font family?

Bingo there! Although it seems that the former is a little more compressed and refined around the edges, looking all more plausible. Now I suspect that Argentina might be a retraced version of an original font we still can't identify. Thank you for the find!
hello, I can't seem to be able to identify this font. could it be a custom font? the way the R is finishing looks quite peculiar so I'd take that detail as a reference. thank you in advance!
