Figured out it's very similar to some of the Burnout logos, which use Kenyan Coffee Bold Italic. The E's especially don't look the same, but without any suggestions this is the best match I could find. Hopefully this helps anyone else who comes looking.

This font was used for the logos of all NFS games (albeit with different styling) from NFS2 [1997] all the way to Prostreet [2007]. Was hoping someone could identify it.
