If it's only for a business card, create it with a graphic editor as a bit map file. The font will be changed to a group of pixels and you will no more have problem to transform it to a PDF if you want.

Combien de polices as-tu déjà installé ?

As-tu déjà installé d'autres polices OTF (Pistili n'est pas une TTF) ? Tes logiciels les voient-ils correctement ?

Essaye de l'installée dans ton répertoire Font (oui, j'ai bien compris qu'elle y est déjà) par un copier/glisser. Est-ce que Windows te dit qu'elle est déjà installée ?

Essaye de la supprimer du répertoire Font. Quand tu la réinstalles, as-tu la fenêtre de message (généralement assez rapide) qui te dis qu'elle s'installe ?

Why don't you want to use a font manager ? http://www.dafont.com/soft.php#1
The mean of this can show samples of the fonts with a custom text.

Don't install all your fonts but just the fonts you need. Many of your softwares will run faster.
To choice a font to be installed, you can use a font manager that can show event the non-installed fonts, like Font Lister. To don't loose time in your choice, it's nessesaary to order your non-installed fonts in a good system of folders, by styles.

C'est celle que j'utilise pour mettre du thaï sur les pages web.
Mais malheureusement, je doute qu'elle contienne les alphabets indiens.
Il faudrait poser la question sur un site de langue comme freelang http://forum.lokanova.net (il y a parfois des spécialistes de langues orientales qui y trainent) ou sur un site spécialisé sur l'Inde.
