pilaster - there are so many different versions of Avant Garde - it was a free for all with typesetters... it could be the actual manufacturer who modified it... but it's such a distinct font.


And because of it's light weight- the guys from Photoletterinng had many other Avant Gardes they created (they were the designers...)

Most f the letters look like Bodoni italic along with Bodoni with Swash - and some handtailoring....

(If you reset it, please use the real apostrophe, and not a single open quote mark - thanks - it's the typographer in me screaming out.)

It looks like someone handtailored the tops of ITC Serif Gothic Black

I did find the "i" in some fonts 9 but the "b" never matched up - that was the closest I could get you...
