The question was pretty clear, what type of template?
Can you read?

Format > Settings > Metrics > Calculate.
You might also want to take the trouble to read the help pdf so that you understand what you are doing. To prevent that you ever again publish a mess like this.

Huh? Which font?

any of the 11.000.

It should be 142 kB (146.192 bytes). Check your mail.

When you embed the font in the presentation, yes. Otherwise only if the font in question is installed on the other computer. Be aware that a great many fonts do not allow embedding in some form or at all.
What will be the result in your case is completely unpredictable as you carefully avoided to tell which font you are talking about. So you have to live with half an answer.
Good luck.

Before you publish a font at least check the metrics.

The swashes maybe poztherone, but the text is. All letters have an identical base shape.

You are absolutely right Charl and I fully agree. The people here at the forum are required to read someones brain. They have to! Because some 50% of the someones posting here carefully avoid to give even a fraction of the info that might help to answer the question. Look at your post for example: "I am trying to install the font". Now it is clear - and that is exactly why you are so right - that we know immediately which one of the ± 11,000 fonts here on Dafont you are talking about. So we can test what is happening, reconstruct your problem and give you the solution in no time. That is what we are here for, aren't we?

Have fun my friend and ... be nice to the cats.

Can't reproduce it with Cally Hand. But then, I'm no apple. What is clearly wrong, however, is the decender, set at -250 while the tails go to -405. Win Decent is set correct at -421. Win Ascent is also set correctly at 535 but, again completely wrong for the ascender: 750!

Also Indy Pimp is clearly a designers fault. The ascender settings are a total mess.

I downloaded it from dafont though?!

Nope. There are no password protected fonts on dafont.

A nowadays more and more common font creation error, incorrect ascender and decender settings. There is a one-click solution for those designers who care to read the manual.

Ideas? Sure! Before you download read the little text that says Pass or so.
This, by the way only happens when you are illegally downloading fonts/font collections. Will never happen when you download at legit sites as dafont and so.
Was that smart to ask the question here?

See Vinz, every question gets it's proper answer.

No, you are not silly and yes there is a solution.

Thinking that it is a quick and easy job. That is, if some beginner wants to make something usable

May 04, 2011 at 08:06  [reply]  Opentype Fonts

Sorry Sue I should have been clearer and said that Publisher 2010 and Office 2007 can not handle OpenType features. Publisher 2010 and Office 2007 handle OTF as if it were TTF. So no automatic ligatures, no alternates and so.

May 03, 2011 at 22:18  [reply]  How do I create fonts?

You may be 'an extremely good graphics designer' Hunu, but you certainly lack education. I'm flabbergasted Vinz even took the trouble to answer you, troll.
