I go with that but my creation date setting says something different and the readme with the March 29, 2002 version (the postscript with the swashes added) starts with: I hope you enjoy this latest version of American Pop. Confusion all over.
LokiCola is a freebee, yes, but does not offer the possibilities of the FontMesa Americam Pop.
You are right Zaky. American Pop was there years before LokiCola.
The font used to make this logo is indeed the Kabel. But or not the original but a variation or modified, round dots on i and j and the e replaced by the e of another font, something like Brendel's Montreal 12° degrees rotated.
Nice pick, FontLab. The best, the most complicate to master and the steepest learning curve. I think that in your case you will be much better of with
FontStruct specially if you just want to make a pixel font.
OpenOffice uses the fonts that are installed in your system and reads the list at start-up. After installing a new font (proper install is more reliable than drag & drop) you need to restart OpenOffice (including the Quickstarter) to see the new fonts in the Font Name list box.

Me Urge Borlitas is not a font but a logo. The small text is the
Giddyup.
We don't hate fontstruct, not at all. The limitation of fontstruct is just that it is based on geometrical components only.
... now, what might 'late' mean ...
Myfonts accepts anything that will bring commission. Try to find out who and what is Softmaker.

Volkswagen Serial Black is not the original. Just a Softmaker rip-off. You should not suggest The Softmaker trash.
VAG: Volkswagen AktienGeselschaft!
That is the same under a different name.
