And once they got use to no electricity due to Hurricane Sandy - along came a Nor'Easter and dropped snow... The only suggestion I can see - is go to Caslon Book - and white stroke it to thin it out - won't be exact but will come close....

At first I thought this was Copperplate (http://myfonts.us/td-A7pZ6O) - but then I saw your "E" and knew it had to be Newtext from ITC. Your sample is fuzzy, 7th generation - R looks bent out of shape - can't see the serif on the "A" - but it's Newtext...
