Troubadour Pro Engraved is a high quality almost match
Rechtman Script digitized by David Rakowski in 1992
Not quite as close for the numbers 5, 2 & 6 is PT Sans, a free Google Webfont
Note that THIS IS NOT THE FONT
The numbers 0 & 1 can be approximated by using another font
Looks like this was produced by a rubber stamp that includes a numbering machine with four bands that can be rotated
to show: day, month, and year.
Does not seem to be an exact match for anything in a digital font.
The closest found for the numbers 5, 2 & 6 is Dokument Pro:

As rendered by the sign painter
Labyrinth released in 1986 used predigital Chesterfield, published by Letraset in 1977 as contact lettering.
Letraset version included alts for _h_, _m_, _n_, and _s_.
They are included in the E&F alts.

I wonder if Lyons offered alt versions for all point sizes or simply varied the font for different sizes, depending on what he had in stock in 1941.

Yes that's it.
From what I can see from the rather fuzzy TV image there is no difference between the title and the old time Ringlet.
These are custom letters in the chamfered style.
Most chamfered fonts -- Jersey M54 etc. -- are wider
The width to height ratio of _Lords_ is similar to SlimFit -- BUT THIS IS NOT THE FONT.
Did not find an exact match so far.
