And you forget Fontographer (formerly a macromedia software) wich is "cheaper" than fontlab (399$ is not what i call cheap but in regards of the 649$ of Studio5...) but still a really good tool.
Anyway, to forge your hand to type creation pick the Font Creator's trial, it's a good compromise.

i don't know why but it reminds me of a ferrari font. Maybe i'm wrong, i'll try to dig that.

i tried to donwload > unzip > install > and launch cs4, it works as a charm. Maybe someone with CS3 could check ?
if you are using vista or 7 : right click the unzipped file and click on install from the contextual menu

these links are fine. Just download both fonts : 880Ko and 235Ko unzipped perfectly.
This may come from your internet connection. Try to re-download them later or from another computer.

why do we always have to worm informations out of everybody ?

there was2 points in my reply :
a/ the download was incomplete / corrupted / ...
b/ the unzipping tool you are using is having issues with some of the files of the site

If the problem is that you can't download 100% of the file, then try another browser / computer / ...
If your problem is that you can't unzip it try something els than winrar.

Files are not courrupted (this may happen, but it is very rare). Problems occurs while downloading and affects not so many people (in regards of the number of dafont users). It may be caused by the version of the zipping tool used to compress the file vs the version of the zipping tool used to unzip it. Try different unzipping tools.

1-just because someone downloaded your font doesn't mean he howes you a comment. Or say it in the author's note maybe.
2-if you are talking of your side banner, there is no tracking tools provided by dafont. You can change the url of your banner to a specific page on your own website that will track visitors before redirecting them to your homepage.
3-Unfortunately there is almost no solution for this. Try contacting the webmaster, ask them to leave the files intacts arguing the respect of your rights and a better quality of the original files. Try to threaten them if it doesn't seem to work. Then, if it's still not working, if you have time and money for this, hire a lawyer and sue them.
