Perhaps it is a mash-up of different fonts? The BAX, if extended, could have easily originated from K22 Ambelyn Consensed. The E reminds me of a fairy tale font from the 1980s, whose name escapes me.

Most of the letters are Ad Lib, but not all.

Perhaps you can add an outline around the numbers?
It was sold commercially as AlmSanaa. It is no longer available for purchase from MyFonts.com

It wouldn't surprise me if we learn that the book cover designer handwrote both the title and the author. The repeating letters in the name do not match.
