Font Is this a better sample? Does this look like what you're looking for?

font For the color, take a CMYK scan of something professionally printed (letterhead, business card, etc) and match it with a graphics program.
They might be able to do this for you at a FedEx Office (Kinkos) or similar place at little (or maybe no if you explain how poor your organization is and what a big help it would be to your work) cost.

Honestly, whoever owns these new glyphs (Phillies, MLB, whoever) is guarding them jealously.
You might do better using glyphs from 1946-1949, which are similar, though I don't know if anyone's developed a font fron that era.
Someone still owns those glyphs too, but no-one seems to be griping about the guy, with the '80s retro font:

(scroll to the bottom for the font, it isn't obvious)
And while we're at it... Phillies? I mean, Whisky Tango Fox, eh?
Pirates rock the house. Raise the Jolly Roger and forget about the rest!

deeR Don't really need an ID. You can if you want.
I just thought it would give some of this crowd a chuckle. At least I did.
Birds of Paradise is similar to Corner Store.

Actually, take a look here and you might find what you need.
http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=601 An offshoot of Bitstream Vera Sans Bold.
There are dozens of those because of the license.

The kerning of Fr and fe will likely give it away.
Try DejaVu Sans Bold?

I found some lower case of a similar typeface (regular, not bold) from the title page of the book to examine!

And here:

[EDIT... Never mind, that's just some version of Caslon. Actually, let's go with Bodini. Not the cover font.

That's awful close... Definitely a close copy!
The "S" looks perfect. I wish we had the "A" in one of those samples. The A in "Great Primer Antique No. 8" doesn't match.
It does look similar to Antique No. 8. I don't have the Freshwater book but I did find a small sample here:
https://books.google.com/books?id=cmjPAAAAMAAJ&pg=PA31
There's another full alphabetic sample later in the book but unfortunately only lower case.
Still the C isn't right...
Similar digitized type faces I found also either didn't have the lower terminal on the C, or the upper terminal on the A, or the terminals on the S weren't right.
I think this face has never been digitalisiseded.
