The letters are from the Puma custom font Nature of Believing which was used during the 2014 World Cup and on some South American clubs before that. The numbers are modified Nature of Believing numerals.

The image you posted is the font Borussia Dortmund ( www.bvb.de ) will be using for the coming season. I am not sure if that is exclusive to Dortmund but at present only Dortmund is using the font.

Eduardo Manso designed Nature of Believing so he probably modified the font at Puma's request. As for the name, he knows it if it was given a new name. If you want to give it a name, call it BVB font or Dortmund font.

As for availability, the original is not available but there are unofficial digitizations floating around.

Identified font: Nature of Believing

That's not the Real Madrid font!

That is more like it but that font is what I meant by badly made autotraces.

If you are going to use the font for a PES game or just to play around with, that font will do just fine.

If you are going to use the font at a very large size, that might not be the right font for you. You might want something like this one. Disclosure: Link to my font and it is not free.

@michaeljameskoebnick@gmail.com Bou Collegiate is not even close to that font.

That Real Madrid font is custom and I have not seen an original copy of that font yet. What you will find on the net are fonts made based on that design, including mine. Unfortunately, whatever free fonts you will find based on this design are badly made autotraces.

You have associated the zip extension with Word. Undo that.

Isn't that what you think the problem is? That's also what I think it is and I laid down the simplest way to change the file association.

How about that damned zip file, you might ask. How sure are you she does not have a zip file in that download folder of hers. She must have at least one in her computer, the first one she associated with Word. If she could not find one, open Notepad and save a blank document as DAMNED.ZIP and Windows is not as smart as you are to be able tell that it is not a real ZIP file.

What is wrong with reading before writing?

You might be reading too much between the lines. Too bad, I don't read that way!

* Find a ZIP file in your download folder
* Right cllick on the ZIP file.
* Select Open with. Do you see any other program listed there aside from Word? You should also see Windows Explorer and some other programs, if you have other programs that can handle ZIP files.
* Do not select the listed programs, and select instead Choose default program... Choose a listed program that you wish to use to open ZIP files. If your choice is limited to Word and Windows Explorer, choose Windows Explorer.

* Download a font from Dafont and see what happens....
____________

Downloading the free 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/download.html) and installing it will automatically fix this ZIP file association issue. Also true for other archiver programs.

Nov 01, 2014 at 15:06  [reply]  World Cup 2018 font ?

The font is custom. What the name of the font is, no one knows at the moment. FIFA is silent about it. The agency that designed the logo, Brandia Central, is also silent about it. It has just been introduced to the public on Oct 28th, give it time and the font will be, officially or unofficially, available to the public.

If you want to do your own digitization of the logo font, here's what I have. There are more but the samples are too small to be useful.

And for the Arabic version - http://www.cjoint.com/14nv/DKbq3cnlks7_2018fwc-ar.png I am not sure if the arabic script was created using the font but I am assuming that it was.

BTW do not forget to give me a copy of your font

Oct 28, 2014 at 08:55  [reply]  PUMA-Arsenal Font 2014/2015

The font is named Arsenal 2015. This is the real or original Puma font for the UEFA Chanmpions League kit of Arsenal for the 2014/15 season. Ignore the lowercase and most of the punctuations as these are not present in the font and were substituted by Windows with characters from the default font.

I do not know where you can get a copy as I will not tell you who gave it to me and I am not going to give anyone a copy. The reason why I did not do my own version of this font is because I already have the original font. Comparing the original font and the image, it looks like the image you posted was created using the original font. If you really need the font, go to the site where you got the image and get a copy from them.

Suggested font: Arsenal 2015

Sorry wrong font snipped references to that font but the following still holds true....

If you could not contact the designer, it is better to replace Revolution with some other font. You likely have alternatives. Although the chances that the author will go after you is very minimal, it is still more prudent to find another font and spare your client problems later on. As I said, it will not likely happen but the possibility exists, especially if the font will be very visible like in a logo or an ad campaign.

It is your decision and a simple one to make - put your client at risk or buy another font.

Decent design software

So I'm wanting to make some good font illustrations for a font of mine to submit. Can you suggest some good programs or websites to do this?

At its price range ($0), GIMP might be one of the best, if not the best, there is. Go to http://www.gimp.org/ to download the program. There are several forums that will be able to help you if you hit a snag with the program. Google search for GIMP forum to find these sites.

Sep 08, 2014 at 17:57  [reply]  psg ttf font file needed

That font is a proprietary font of the French Ligue de Football Professionnel and the font is used not only by PSG but by all of the teams in the first division, Ligue 1. I have not checked but Ligue 2 might be using this font also. There is probably a league rule to use a common font. You might be familiar with http://www.ligue1.com/ and http://www.lfp.fr/

You won't find an original copy of this font. I went searching in all Ligue 1 clubs' official sites but failed to find one. The URL in your image provides a font for $5. That's very cheap and even cheaper if you get the vector file instead.
