FOX Not a match.
Don
In the ballpark, but has slab serifs like the previous version: Campanile by Richard Ware.
Don
The lettering in this nameplate seems to have started out as a compressed Bodoni.
Compare to the lettering in the Women's Day nameplate used in 2013 which has slab serifs

The lettering in the nameplate is the 1994 revision of the lettering in the previous nameplate which dates from 1944. Compare to the namplate in the first edition
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e8/Une_Le_Monde.jpg Le Monde used the lettering style of the nameplate of a previous news paper called Le Temps. Compare the nameplate style of the nameplate in a 19th century edition of Le Temps with the pre-1994 Le Monde

AYUDA Always happy to learn something new.
I did not actually compare the digital outlines in a font editor, so my comment on cloning seems to have not been spot on.
All I do know is that the Steffmann fonts are his improved versions of existing digital fonts. Without research I can't state what digital font he used as the basis for his version of this design. Mr. Steffmann's practice of sharing obscure digital fonts after his improvements is well known and has been discussed many times in various font forums.

AYUDA I seem to recall that Arabella is a clone of Heather.
Don
_MANDARIN_ looks like a custom logo.
Purista Bold is similar to the letter-forms but is a little too wide.
Don
Still looking for _BUT THERE IS SOMETHING_
But I can note that_nutella_ is a custom logo. It seems to have been derived from ITCAvant Garde Std-Bold

Klavika Display Bold is close.
Apparently available only from the foundry, unlike the ordinary Klavika which is also sold at MyFonts.
Don
A2 Beckett Medium is close.
Expensive, and apparently available only from UK.
You can check the letters here:

This was lettering from the era when fans could buy a comic book for 10 cents.
To reproduce the letters, a font like Industry Ultra could be adapted. Needs to be thicker, narrower and customized with the serif at the apex of _A_. A companion font Industry Inc. has some shadow effects.
Don
AFAIK this is a proprietary font, not available to the public, consisting of a cleaned up version of Matt Groening’s lettering.
Don
The bottom half of Mademoiselle is really close.
Don
Before the Goth treatment this was probably ITC Benguiat
