Does anyone know the typeface used for Bigelow's (from the 1991 film "The Rocketeer"
)? Thanks.
There is a free version of this typeface here on Dafont called Mephisto.
Looks like a bold version of Bellerose.
It seems like a hand drawn version based on Dynamic CP (Cubist Bold from 1929).
Does anyone recognise the script typeface used in this 1938 copy of Amazing Stories magazine? Thanks.
It is similar to the Monogramos font. You will have to adjust the shape a little to fit the shield since this font is round. Inkscape is awesome, I've been using it for over a decade.
Looks like a modified version of Artely Inks. They used the Pound symbol (£) to create the L and italicised the whole thing.
"THE ORIGINAL" is ITC Golden (created by William Morris, the owner of Morris & Co.)
The "MORRIS & Co." lettering seems to be a modern version of the old 1860-70 typeface as seen below...
So it is likely that the main font is based on one of William Morris' typefaces.
It's "African", famously used by the Jurassic Park/World movies.
It reminds me of Lydian Italic. Probably a knockoff from the 1940s or 50s.

Looks like a modified version of "Brothers" or "Fields of Cathay".
SPAWN is the Spawn font found here on Dafont:
