MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE FONT?
Yep, this is the old My Chem font.
Works great, by the way.
Hiya, I know it says free, but does that count for using in a print-on-demand book?
Pls contact

Thanks,

Sorry, just read the readme file so now I know! Thanks!
Why make a font with no 0 or 1?? I'm trying to type "2012"...impossible with this font!
zephyrblue and ianryd,
In the really old days, typewriters didn't have 0's or 1's. You used the uppercase letter O and the lowercase letter l for the 0 and 1. This saved two keys and two type bars, as well as the linkage between the keys and type bars. I'm guessing that the type designer is being very pure in his interpretation of his own mom's typewriter (or nostalgic).
Use it for my Second World War fotobook.

Thanks a lot,
Willem van Maanen.
On older typewrites, there was never a 1 or zero 0 on the keyboard.
You used the lowercase letter l (L) key for the number one and uppercase letter o (O)for zero's.
Is this commercial use font for free?
Hi there,
Thank you so much for creating this font; it's great! I'm having an interesting issue when I go to save a file, though. When in Illustrator, I go to save and get this message: "The font MomsTypewriter" could not be embedded in the PDF document because of licensing restrictions. Stroked text will not be visible." Hmmm. I'm happy to pay for the font, but not sure why this message is happening if it's a free font? How can I get around this?

This font won't let me save it as a PDF file. Says there's licensing restrictions. I was lead to believe this was a free font. Can some one please let me know if there's additional steps in order to use this font. - Cheers

Is this font 100% free? Where is the authors contact info? I want to use it for an album cover.
hi! i would like to ask if this font is free for commercial use? I wanted to use it! Thank you for the beautiful font! Waiting for your reply.
i downloaded this bc it was used on the cover art for My Chemical Romance's album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. but even aside from associations, i love this font so much. it works great considering it's from an actual typewriter, and it's so aesthetically pleasing that i use it for everything!
