Nope, download means download the font so that you can install and use it. If you only want the preview text - as an image - you have to make a screen-dump (Alt+PrtSc) and work with that one.

No author data in the font but it might be a kevin and amanda (freescrapbookfonts) creation. Font creation date is Jan 19 2006 and it was uploaded to Abstractfonts that very same day by freescrapbookfonts1.
