Font Request: WB Presentation Script

Nov 22, 2012 at 03:26

I have made a Font Guide for a Font Request that I would like. Please comment if you are interested.

And if anyone has anything rude to say, don't comment.

Hi,
You can't make a derivative of Script MT and Bambola to make a new font, it's against the EULA. If you want a font job done, draw the charaters by yourself. Copying 85% of the character table of an existing font won't do the job.
That said, you already know our response to font making requests. Somebody may probably do it but not for free.
And if any Looneytunes geek with font making skills want to do it, good for you. But remember what I said about copying an existing font...

Wow, I didn't remember this thread

If LooneyTunerIan insists I'll make it. Price tag 6.000 Euro for the first proposal. Finalized 10.000 Euro.

The tag is that low as LooneyTunerIan is a private person and not a business so I calculated a 50% discount. Just to be nice - for once. And once only.

lol Take it easy, Kat, I think he's just a teen with a passion for cartoons.

If that is so, sweetface, the kid is facing a steep learning curve.

Yup, Katface.
(No insult intended, just a little joke...)

You're very witty...you remember the "wink" comment in a thread by Ikos? Is that it?

Nov 22, 2012 at 20:41

Actually, I did the font guide for free. So, in turn, all of my font requests usually get done for free.

I don't have any money in reality.

Thus, The Kat is out. The Kat only does freebees for fun and this is ... last smiley ...

LooneyTunerIan, who did the font guide for you?

Nov 23, 2012 at 05:37

I made the guide all by myself.

I used some screencaps to show what the real font looks like.

And I might've used a different font to similiarize the font that was similar to it. Like Bambola.

But either way, I know what a real font looks like.

And if it doesn't exist, I make a font guide for it to help anyone out.

making 3 screen captures in fuzzy jpg is not a guide to me. I'll do that in 2 min.
Making a font is far far far far harder than that. So ok, you made some captures anyone could make and want, in return of this huuuuuge task, that someone make you a font, for free... Sorry, without me.

imagine a customer saying :
"hey i want you to make a free webstore. Of course, the website has to be free, because i already made a powerpoint containing my contact informations and the name of my shop"

or a customer saying to an architect :
"Build me this building for free. Don't worry, i can provide you the drawing my kid drew last week. With that drawing the work is more than half-done"

wtf ?

Looney Tuner Ian, you made the guide all by yourself? You said you had no money...how did you buy the fonts? (I'm not being sneaky or anything, just genuinely curious.)

Nov 23, 2012 at 18:40

I have Paint.NET by my side. I used that to help me make the guide.
