Fontforge errors

Hello,

I've been working on a font using Fontforge, and I tried to generate the font, but it came up with an error message saying "Errors detected". The errors are, as follows:

Self intersecting
Missing point at extrema

I know a lot of these errors are probably because I used Inkscape to draw the letters and then imported them into fontforge without making any further changes. is this something I should be worried about? and/or possibly something that would prevent my font from being accepted on dafont.com? and what would be the easiest way to fix this (because these problems affect nearly all of the characters in the font.)

Thanks

I have a lot of that going on. But is it essential to remove it?

hi,
I have another problem now. I scanned in some letters and used autotrace on them, but now whenever I try to open a glyph window fontforge crashes completely. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
thanks
