Problems with FontForge

Mar 09, 2016 at 00:56

Hello,

I just made a bitmap font in FontForge and exported it as a .fon file. When I open the file up to install, it either appears as distorted versions of Times New Roman, Courier New, or MS Sans Serif (I think). Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

Nope, didn't work. Thanks for responding, though.

1 - Generate Fonts Win FNT
2 - rename .fnt -> .fon

Do I rename it with .fon in the program or in Windows Explorer/Finder/Whatever? I tried it in-program like the picture demonstrates, but it still exports as a .fnt-13 file, which my computer can't open.

How do I change a file name extension?

To change a file name extension
Make sure that file name extensions are visible. To learn how to do this, see Show or hide file name extensions.

Right-click the file you want to change, and then click Rename.

Rename: Glyph.fnt to Glyph.fon
