I'm in the middle of making a logo that has some text on it. The client has specified that he would like the font to be "scientific and modern." I don't want anything goofy or radical, but instead something that subtly suggests those attributes. Any ideas?

It depend what "scientific" mean. It's a different feeling for computer science (futurism and dehumanization), machanical development (technic) or pharmaceutical production (purity).
