creating a logo for myself, the G is proving some difficulty, is there any fonts that I can bas the "G" off of?

Are you trying to identify the bottom font, or do you want to find inspiration to create a G for your logo?

As HNI looks like Berthold's Flange / Brendel's Fleming / Star Division's Flavius Heavy (with spurs added), why not use the G of one of those? http://myfonts.us/td-QJYJqu

Could look like this. Cut off the bar of that G, add some perspective correction and you have a matching G. (sort of )

Don't forget to add spurs to the G and to the right of the H. Fonts with spurs always have those both left and right.
