The real thing is the ITC Coolman.
Suggested font: Coolman (ITC)
Coolman ITC: 1995, contains 247 glyphs.
Fabulous 50s: 1997, contains 91 glyphs.
Just making the remark that the original is the Coolman ITC and the Fabulous 50s is just an incomplete copy / rip-off / clone - name it ...

OK, you're absolutely right, I know, but the kerning in the picture belongs to " Fabulous 50s"...

Kerning for Fabulous 50s is OK but the original Coolman has the same kerning. Don't know where you got your copy from but in a conversion process the kerning then must have changed or got lost. CrossFont maybe?

Checked the kerning but that is not the issue. It is the bearings of the Coolman version that lives in the wild that causes that problem.
