HELP: Looking for a font with horizontal symmetry

Oct 12, 2014 at 14:34

Hello all, I am designing a logo and am looking for a font where all of the letters are perfectly aligned in the horizontal center.

What I mean by this is that letters such as 'H' 'P' 'R' 'Y' 'X' and 'B' all share a common horizontal center, ie. that their horizontal components all center the same.

For instance, the center line in "H" would perfectly line up with the center of an 'X' and the bottom of the upper curve of a 'P'.

Sorry for any confusion, my english isn't the best.

Thank you in advance!

PS. Basic / minimal fonts are best

I think you should concentrate on monospaced fonts. The widths of the 'glyph cells' will be equal, but they might not line up exactly on a horizontal axis, because of differences in the amount of spacing on the left and right, like this one:

We get many, many, unclear questions here where one gets puzzled about what the poser wants but here the OP question was clear, wasn't it? Has nothing to do with monospaced.

The GIADA font I just uploaded has this horizontal alignment you seek.
