saving font to a ai or pdf flash drive file for printer purposes

Please help! The font AlienEncounters could not be embedded in the PDF document because of licensing restrictions. Stroked text will not be visible. What does this mean?

Outline the text before saving so that it becomes "artwork" instead of a font. Then, you should have no problems saving because at that point, it's no longer an actual font. That should work.

If it's only for a business card, create it with a graphic editor as a bit map file. The font will be changed to a group of pixels and you will no more have problem to transform it to a PDF if you want.

Except of course Menhir when you need to scale the pict. This font is 12 year old. Why ShyWedge set restricted license embedding in all the fonts? Dunno. But as Shyfonts has since long joined the foundries in the sky I would simply change the embedding setting ...

When you save to PDF, just set "convert all font to curves" or something like that.
