Font ID request - HELP please!
I'm going crazy with this thing! We have a client who has an existing directory made by a different company who has since gone out of business. We've been charged with matching the font exactly to make two new tenant strips. f course, he has no clue what the font is, and I've had zero luck tracking it down. I'm hoping that somebody can help.
Thanks!

Close, but not exact. You might not have luck with this one - but hey, there are some supernaturally-font-identifying people around here, so keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks for the help malvolio. It's pretty close, but the numbers are off and the serifs are a little off. It's so frustrating! Appreciate the help though.
I know the serifs are not a match...I so wish I could help, and to be honest I am pretty curious too.

Well, if I ever get a resolution for this I will be sure to let everyone know here. Thanks again.
dont know if this is because of the scan, but it seems inconsistent to me...
@gbdesign, are there other samples?
@daaams I agree. It just looks... odd
@malvolio I will see what I have. I may have a shot of the directory...
I have a shot of the directory. Is there a way to add it to this post, or do I have to start a new one?
You can either replace the original image, if it is better. Or you can host the new image (imgur, etc.) and put it in a new message with [img] tags :

You're welcome

Are you sure this is a font? It look like someone used stencils to me...

Sorry, I should have mentioned that they were back painted.
You should watch in this selection (made by drf especially for you) :

Oh...
So now I am even more sure it's not a font, it's stencils or something...
I think your best bet would really be using a condensed serif font that has the same round, warm feeling.
I doubt a font exists that looks exactly like your sample.
I'm sorry, I wish I could help more.

i guess it's more something than stencils...
have you ever tried to close the shapes like "o", "e", "q"... to make a stencil ?
that's why when you look at the stencil fonts, they all have a common point, a common point you'll easily find
http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=114 Thanks everyone. Unfortunately the client needed an exact match and cancelled the order. Thanks for trying.
Oh, I am so sorry! I wish I could have helped.
