The FONT you started from is definitely MONOTON, modified to adapt it to the logo in question.

How did Big Hit (the company of BTS) or even themselves alter the font that makes it look so freaking good

They used a graphics software.
Or found a font that was already like this.

Some characters, the M for instance seem taken from Pump Triline
