Hello,

I'm interested in the font "FrankenDork" by "Omega Font Labs"
http://www.dafont.com/frankendork.font

I have downloaded the zip but there is no readme and i don't find any email address on the web page.

Do you know where i can contact this author please ? I want to discuss with him about what will be the price if i use his font to create some textures.

Thanks,

In the copyright, I look "copyright 1997". For computer time, it's prehistoric...
Perhaps the author do anathing other at this time.

And, in the copyright, the font is marked "Freeware".

So, I think you can use it without permission.

Thanks for your answer Menhir.

But i want to use this font to create textures for a commercial game, so i don't want to guess if it is copyrighted or not, i want to be sure, and pay a small fee if needed.

If anybody has more info thanks !

Thanks for your answers.

I have emailed "Nimbus@Telenet.net"

and here is the answer :
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

Nimbus@Telenet.Net

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.1.1 <Nimbus@Telenet.Net>... User unknown (state 14).

It means the email does not exist anymore. I guess i'm stuck.

To those of you who are selling fonts, for small uses, like creating textures for a menu in a video game : What will you do if i use one of your fonts without asking your permission or purchasing the font ?
Will you contact me first or sue me for copyright infringement ?

I ask this because i really want to use the "FrankenDork" font but i don't know how to contact the author...

Thanks,

I'm only a independant developper, with me, alone in my team. :P

I'm ready to pay a small fee to the author of the font but i can't contact him... So i guess that no answer = no font for commercial use.

I don't know what to do, maybe i should create my own font to avoid copyright problems...

I said I think it's impossible. This font is too old.
