The top line is a Syriac font. The text font is Baskerville. But what on earth is the bold font? Has anyone ever seen such a ligature?

Chez Fonderies Deberny & Peignot, la ligature ffi est présente seulement dans le Giraldon Gras.

Dunno Claude, but the fact that it doesn't appear on the print (thanks for the link) imho doesn't by definition mean that it was not part of the character set. Anyway, it is there now
