Can i use this font in a company logo?

Hello, I am carrying out clearances for a TV Production and they would like to use this font for a sign.

Please can you confirm that it is in the Public Domain and free of all Copyright to use for commercial purposes? We need World Clearance, All Media, in Perpetuity.

I should appreciate it if you could confirm.

This is a merely a crudely digitized copy of a typace called Quicksilver designed by Dean Morris.
