Yup, some of the same ideas is behind it. ;) With Heldustry Phil Martin combined Helvetica with Eurostile. Familiar Pro uses the same metrics as Helvetica, and as I have used superelliptical rounds it inadvertently got some of the same look. I think Familiar Pro looks friendlier and less cold, though...

I was mocking up some logo designs using your excellent font and I have a question. I've made no adjustments to the actual font but is it ok for commercial use to be used as a company logo? Thanks.
