BTW the font for "MUSIC TELEVISION" is Helvetica Black. 
Hi, the font for the MTV logo is MTV Lowercase, a personal use-friendly font by 538 Lyons. This font comes in a folder with two typeface files, one being for the M, and the other for the TV.
