They said it was Italican Script Expanded, so I bought it hoping there were alt chars for the more swooping letters but there isnt. The p is all wrong.

thanks everyone, despite it being wrong, they're sticking with Italican. I guess they dont want to pay for another font.

Italican is a commercial font too,
and really doesn't look like Zapfino

This is Zapfino Linotype One. If you want it, it's only available from the Linotype site. IT costs about $35 per set and there are 4 or 5 sets to the Zapfino set.
