Help please! Why are the characters in the font Before the rain dropping tops and bottoms of characters

What do you mean with 'dropping'

I haven't downloaded the font, but I can see from the font preview that some of the alternates appear to be cut off at the top and bottom. I suspect this is because the ascender and descender values in the font metrics haven't been adjusted to compensate for the taller alternate character sizes.

I suggest contacting Måns directly and asking him to take a look.

daaams - I have now downloaded 'Before the Rain' and it does appear as if at least four glyphs in the demo version exceed the ascender/descender metrics. They are glyphs 139 (ampersand), 179 (upside-down question mark), 271 (R acute) and 283 (R caron). Maybe you could check and confirm? Maybe also there are more in the full version, which I don't have.

From what expologos writes I get that droppings stands for cut-off, correct?
