The font I installed has lots of characters,
and I can't acces all of them.
(The font was Aegyptus)

No, only the application UTF-32 , not the application UTF-16

I'm sorry, I don't know exactly what you are talking about.
Can you give me some advise on what to do?

What system do you use ?

Voulez- vous préciser avec quel système ? Quel logiciel ?

Ron Paker a écrit sur un autre forum :

It looks like Win7 Notepad and Wordpad and even BabelPad itself don't
like non-BMP characters at all. They display two .notdef glyphs for
non-BMP characters. They do all know that those characters are a single
codepoint, in that they won't let you put the caret between the two
glyphs, so the problem seems to be entirely a rendering issue.

Word 2007 understands characters outside the BMP, but for some unknown
reason seems to choke on characters in Plane 15, which holds 7,273 of
Aegyptus' glyphs. That is, it'll happily show the characters U+13xxx,
but it shows a single .notdef glyph for U+Fxxxx

But what should I do?

re-encoded U+Fxxxx -> U+Exxx
