ITC bought out Image Club's library - but never put out the Eclat Alternate font - so the only place to get that lower case R now is with Creampuff... But by now you know that if I remember (and my brain is getting weaker...) an original - I try for it. I do not mean to offend anyone - just educate. There is so much about type that is lost - and the next generation hasn't a clue... the masters are gone.

Thank you. Wow... that wasn't how I remembered that R... lol

Those are my copies, however from somewhere, Nick Curtis would take that "r", he didn't use to be very "creative" on these revivals...

PS: Anyway, I love Nick Curtis, as one of the responsibles of my love for old faces...

I once read an apology from Nick Curtis - he realized that when he first started out - he was just making fonts and not knowing what he was doing - or realizing he was taking someone else's work as his own. The letter was wonderful - even remorseful - he stated that if he could start again he'd do it differently.

I gave him a lot of credit - and his fonts really are nice... I love when he does Art Deco ones... especially ones that have not been with us since the way of the typositor.
